Tim Lincecum had an early exit during the Giants Monday loss to the Dodgers in Los Angeles. By the time Joc Pederson doubled to right to give the Dodgers a 4-0 lead in the 3rd, Lincecum was quite frustrated. Home plate umpire Eric Cooper asked for the baseball and Lincecum responded like a petulant child, tossing the ball to the ground. Luckily, it rolled in the direction of his catcher so it looked like he totally meant to do that. Amazingly, Cooper didn’t use this as an excuse for an Ump Show. Lincecum exited the game on his own in the 4th.
